As a Project Engineer, I am involved in all stages of a project. When a building needs renovation, I’m there first to take stock. I draft a report, which is sent to the client for approval so that the project can start. At the moment, we’re working on a psychiatric care facility for about 40 patients. This isn’t a renovation but a completely new project. I love how varied my job is, and how it allows me to work with people and with technology.
I was made redundant because of a reorganization, so I was looking for a new job. Several recruiters and secondment agencies approached me, and I talked to a few of them, but Buro Nexus immediately felt right. Besides the primary and secondary conditions being just plain good, I really liked the atmosphere as well. Very familiar, very personal. People here get along very well with each other, from managers down to engineers. I also like a lot that the colleagues working at my client company immediately accepted me as an equal, even though I’m technically a consultant. I have the best of two worlds here: I can go to parties and events organized by Buro Nexus, but also to those of my client!
If I find a course or training that could help me develop, I can ask Buro Nexus to approve it. If the training is in my own field, chances are they’ll accept it immediately. I have to initiate it myself, but that’s only natural.
Start a new challenge tomorrow.
That’s how quickly we like
things to go at buro Nexus.
